SlideShortcuts brings McKinsey-style keyboard shortcuts to any PC. Align, resize, format, and build slides without touching the ribbon.
7-day free trial. No credit card required. Windows + PowerPoint 2016+
At McKinsey, BCG, or Bain, you built slides at speed — aligning objects, formatting text, and assembling decks with muscle memory. Then you moved to a corporate role, and all of that disappeared.
Now you're back to right-clicking menus, hunting through the ribbon, and spending twice as long on half the slides. SlideShortcuts gives you that speed back.
Every shortcut is mapped to the actions you use dozens of times a day.
Align left, right, center, top, bottom, and middle — each a single shortcut. No more Format menu diving.
Match widths, heights, or exact positions across objects. Copy position from one shape, paste it onto ten.
Insert "Draft", "Preliminary", "Illustrative" stickers, flags, footnotes, and legends — the McKinsey way.
Bring forward, send back, bring to front, send to bottom. Four shortcuts that replace endless right-click menus.
Apply default text format, change font sizes, adjust line spacing, and control word wrap — all from the keyboard.
Print 1-up, 2-up, or 4-up slides per page. Save paper, save trees, still look sharp in the meeting.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Q inside PowerPoint to see this anytime.
Double-click one file. It copies the add-in to PowerPoint and opens the activation dialog.
Paste the license key from your email. If it's on your clipboard, it fills in automatically.
Shortcuts activate instantly. Press Ctrl+Alt+Q for the reference card. Every future launch just works.
Every plan includes all 52 shortcuts and free updates.
SlideShortcuts works with PowerPoint 2016, 2019, 2021, and Microsoft 365 on Windows. It runs as a standard PowerPoint add-in — no admin install needed.
SlideShortcuts uses key combinations that PowerPoint doesn't assign by default (like Ctrl+Alt+C for Align Center). If you have custom macros on overlapping combos, you can disable SlideShortcuts temporarily via Alt+F8 > ToggleMcKinseyShortcuts.
Not yet. SlideShortcuts currently supports Windows only. Mac support is on the roadmap depending on demand.
The shortcuts simply stop working. No uninstall needed. When you purchase a license, just enter the new key and you're back up instantly — all your PowerPoint files are completely unaffected.
Each license key activates on one machine. If you switch PCs, contact support and we'll issue a transfer key at no extra charge.
The shortcuts are inspired by the internal tools used at top consulting firms, adapted for standalone use. If you've used ThinkCell shortcuts, BrightSlide, or the firm's internal macro pack, these will feel immediately familiar.
SlideShortcuts runs entirely offline inside PowerPoint. It never connects to the internet, never uploads files, and never collects any data. The only thing stored is your license key in the Windows registry.
7-day free trial. Every shortcut. Zero risk.
